Leclerc just loves Baku, huh? I think he's said this is one of his favourite tracks, and it shows. Very good lap from him there.
I can see it being a shit-show for sure.
He's been impressive today, definitely taking me by surprise.
I think he aborted the lap because he was outside track limits there, but I'd have to go back to make sure.
Always exciting to watch! If anyone wants to discuss the matches or event in general we have discussion thread open over at !dota2@lemmy.ml
So we're now at the "black people cause disease" stage, I see. Are we allowed to call upon the Nazi Germany parallells yet, or is that still "extreme and exaggerated rhetoric"?
The expansion rate should decrease and eventually reverse at some point. I don't think anyone has yet defined when or why, or the theory would be considered complete. But us currently being in the phase of expansion doesn't automatically invalidate the theory I don't think. Then again, I'm not an astrophysicist.
That's so funny, Sweden had a similar thing going with Goldie Hawn movies! After The Girl From Petrovka was translated literally ("Tjejen från Petrovka"), the next 8 out of 11 Goldie Hawn movies had their titles changed and translated as "Tjejen som..."(The girl who...) despite having nothing else in common apart from being comedies.
The Big Bounce theory isn't particularly new, but it's fascinating to see more recent contributions and work on it. I am happy it still is under active investigation and hasn't been disproven, as I find the idea of an endless heartbeat of the universe much more beautiful and less depressing than a Big Bang followed by heat death of the universe.
Sadly probably correct. Hopefully I'm wrong and it's just a case of motivation, but he has not been looking his best ever since China this year. Based on last year I thought he had a few more in him, but it might be the case that he's finally starting to slip now. He might have a shot in '26 if Newey and Honda hit it out the park, but that is it.
I remember reading about these ideas twenty years ago, and it seems we still don't understand them well enough for it to sound like a great idea. I know, desperate times call for desperate measures and all that and it's not like we're not running out of time, but this seems like playing with fire.
Betteridge's Law strikes again.
