👋 I want the link!
I was going to recommend AnySoftKeyboard but someone recommended OpenBoard fork with swipe type and that's by far the best open source keyboard app I've used now... Especially coming from gboard
Sweet! This is more comfortable to use coming from Gboard to ASK. I got used to the issues with ASK but def prefer AOSP keyboards more.
I built an OpenMediaVault NAS and run a JellyFin server on it.. connect with wireguard and stream music with Symfonium I've decided to download on the web.. it's a little work to get there but it's def private as long as you trust the devs. I'd also recommend vimusic for music discovery and web playing.
I use immich on my server :) KDE connect is amazing tho
I use Mull with Bitwarden. Hardened Firefox on Linux
I use Brave and occasionally Crowdview for questions... any reason why I should find a Searx instance instead?
Yes that's correct... I don't really have anything relying on my connections 24/7 so that's not an issue for me personally.
No, you're not a bother at all; this is very informative! I don't personally have the time to delve into the technicalities of why something may be outdated or maybe even redundant. I just kind of follow what has worked for me, as I want to be as anonymous as I can be while browsing the web. Furthermore, I will change Decentraleyes out for LocalCDN; I appreciate this tip.
Hardend Firefox in incognito or just Librewolf with uBlock Origin, Privacy Badger, and Decentraleyes add-ons along with Mullvad + NextDNS is the best combination. If you can also have pi-hole it can also do a good job at blocking trackers..NextDNS seems to do the job for me though. I use Mull browser on android.
"Mullvad" with "NextDNS" is my fav combination now. For connecting to my personal servers and network at home, I use WireGuard.
One step toward Lemmy piracy lol
