Not flute working but sewing, and I know it sounds insane, but mm is just to small to be practical. It's one or two strands of tread whereas 1/4 or even 1/8 gives a proper piece to cut of.

And 1/4 inch seem allowance is just so much less bulky than the standard 0,75 cm, and so much more intuitive for me to work with .... and f. I just realized that all my arguments for using inches are based on habits..

Even though I'm european I never really applied cm in anything but homework and therefore never got a real sense of it. And a lot of the nice sewing patterns are in inches so that's where i started.

As far as i remember, it isn't mentioned in the first 7 books. It might be mentioned in the curse we don't like to talk about (the cursed child) and/or in all her ramblings on pottermore or whatever that site was called.

Uh and they have some really nice looking pants, so I definitely have to consider them.

My most outdoorsy friend also mentioned them. So I think I'll try a few local shops tomorrow and if i don't find anything i like, I'll give Revolution Race a try. I just hate buying clothes online.

I work in a store where I walk a lot and make many heavy lifts on a daily basis. And normally i just use regular cheap jeans, but they only last some months before they rip on the inner tights.

So I'm looking for some durable pants that handle friction and sweat in the inner thigh. I was looking at Fjällräven but I have heard they are not that good compared to price anymore. So any recommendations on EU or preferably Scandinavian brands?
