Swiss here, quick correction. Yes, we have the rifles in our attics and basements, but, generally, no ammo is given out. You get that at the armory when you go to mandatpry training or in case of emergency.

Which is probably why the last mass shooting was some 20 years back.

Yeah, but getting a truck is harder than getting a gun.

How 'bout not doing that?

[-] Duvidl@lemmy.world 15 points 11 months ago

It wouldn't. That's the point. Having Hamas do that seems like a perfect excuse to throw palestine under the bus. Which they would do with the agreement, anyhow. Now they have a reason.

This... what?

I've never heard of these Northern English pecularities. Fascinating.

That clearly didn't work. A 40 percent increase is plenty, but it seems people don't want their jobs to dictate their personal lives. Which is fair, I guess.

They need to change the expectations tha t come with the junior captain's seat. Or force senior captains to be a bit more lenient, too.

The alternative is having no captains anymore, soon.

This sounds a lot like deep thought and 42.

Did that, woeks great. Also added Lego wheels to make sure they don't get dented. 10/10, would recommend.

"And I haven’t read that specific memo in detail, but I disagree with the conclusions from that.”

Gotta love that statement.

Don't know either but wondered about it, too.

It doesn't seem too taxing on them so I'm hoping for the best.

Exactly the same. Usually standing up, but if it's a really bad morning I sit down.

More often than not I also close the drain so it becomes a bath and suddenly I'm stewing in my own shame and regret.
