How is the current Nvidia driver situation on Linux? I wanted to give it a shot on my gaming PC for a long time now but was deterred by the various driver horror stories…

Same, with every headline I read I feel "Yep, this is done", I don't have the energy to be optimistic anymore.

Too bad Matrix clients are all kinda meh... Beeper is the only pretty solid one I've come across and it sadly isn't open-source.
