He's being influenced, obviously, but it seems that he's calling the shots. Otherwise, whoever "they" is, is rather indecisive. And it doesn't matter how many there are. There aren't 100 million.
They want meaningless violence that won't accomplish anything for us. This would do a little something. Vance is powerless. He has no cult of personality. He's a couch fucker. No one listens to him.
It's not warfare. It's assassination. Any gun can kill someone. No matter what he thinks, he's not bulletproof. It's suicidal to make the attempt. But the one to do it would be put in the history books as one of 5 people to kill a US president. I'd do it if I could honestly. Alas, I don't have access to transport, a weapon, or a good plan.
I didn't say it'd be easy. Or that the perpetrator would live. He's having that big ass parade tomorrow. It'd take planning though.
When one is a world leader, they have to understand exactly what they're talking about, and keep that position constant. This man doesn't. But his incompetence is well known and understood. What are we all going to do about it? Lemme tell y'all, protesting isn't going to stop anything. There's more of us than there are of them (being those with power), and the 2nd amendment exists. Do with that as you will, especially those that are severely depressed.
Same people that the military attracts. Those that think being violent makes one a badass, and can't restrict themselves to fiction like a normal person.
There's like 350 million people in this country. Thousands of people kill themselves everyday. Couldn't a single one of them take someone like Trump with then? No Luigi copycats, really weird.
I might get a bit of hate for this, but fuck it. Capitalism isn't evil, just flawed enough that the evil can take advantage of it. Socialism makes sure that people have what they need, very good. Capitalism lets people get what they want. I propose smashing those 2 together with rather heavy regulations to prevent exploitation. This has kind of been done, but to a rather light extent. I'm not an economist, I'm just a guy. Don't listen to me. Eh, like 3 people will see this. How's your day going?
I'm almost entirely an Xbox user, I do have a decent amount on pc and switch. Thanks for your perspective.
The competition exists, but it's basically just a few megacorporations in each industry. They're not fighting each other too hard.
