I thought Chakotay had a major role in some good episodes of Voyager. I enjoyed him in State of Flux, Initiations, Maneuvers, Basics I and II, Distant Origin, Unity, Scorpion I and II, Nemesis, Year of Hell I and II, In the Flesh, One Small Step, Timeless, Shattered. Of course, Chakotay had a lot of bad episodes too. He was just written inconsistently on Voyager (which was a problem with show in general).

Torres definitely says something like that to Janeway shortly after she became chief engineer. Bashir reminded them how long it would take to get back after their warp drive was destroyed in the Dominion fighter they were in. Gomez tells LaForge that she can’t divert power because the system she was working on was damaged during their first encounter with the Borg.
Maybe he became the host for a Goa’uld?
You can’t compare worth with income. A better comparison might be profits, which were $15B for past 12 months. So Wells Fargo’s penalty is 1.3% of their “salary.” Even if you go by revenue, it’s greater than your parking ticket example. I get that they are an evil corporation, but accuracy matters.
That works for most printers I’ve used in the US too.
There are a lot of subtle things that are enabled too. Superconductors can store energy, because current going trough a superconductive loop doesn’t dissipate due to heat. You can use that to store energy in a battery or memory cell. Superconductors are at the heart of some of the most sensitive sensors. They can detect single photons for quantum optics, very sensitive changes to magnetic fields that enable more portable MRIs, ultra sensitive RF detectors. I think those will make a lot more immediate impacts.
I thought that making blue check marks purchasable was one of the first things Musk did at Twitter after firing everyone.
Sounds like a job for a raspberry pi.

Tesla supports removing the tax credit, because they don’t need the tax credit as much as their competitors.
