Instagrams format doesn’t really lend itself to societal breakdown. Twitter and Facebook Groups absolutely do and have a lot to answer for.

Fediverse is the next gen and improved to cause less of that. People are excited about the normies making the next step.

Well, yeah. Don’t we all know that is the MO anyway? And not like it’s against Ukraine’s interests. Zelensky could surrender today if he wanted.

Does it really matter that much? You still control your profiles on each actual site it's just an aggregator.

Dogs are omnivores like us and can do fine on a plant based diet. Sometimes even recommended for health reasons for dogs with anal gland issues.

Cats are a bit more complex but require taurine. Modern mass produced cat food is supplemented with synthetic taurine anyway so there isn’t much difference.
