I think part of the issue is the individualistic culture of Ottawa. Everyone just minds their own business to a fault here.

Possibly because they refuse to admit that they are being obtuse.
Konami published a lot of games that had potential but they didn't really take them anywhere.
I wish I could buy it and turn into my own private orchard with a small hilltop tower in the middle. Bye bye cruel world!
That has been pretty much my life lately here in Ottawa. I'll take boring any day over busy, overcrowded cities.
What helps me is listening to music with repeating sounds. It paces me and allows me to keep doing things for a longer period of time.
I pass this thing almost every week. It's not that creepy in real life.

We're slowly progressing. The days of copying the USA's homework are behind us. We're somewhere in the middle now.
People give me a weird look when I spell out dates like this. It's easier for me to say it that way and it's correct. I don't get why people are iffy about it

To skirt Canadian employment laws, a previous employer gave me unrealistic targets and even when I acheived them she would say I'm underperforming. This exists in every country. Employers will always find a way to make it look like the employee quit of their own volition.
