No, I really like the smell of my own farts as it has something aromatic about it if you know what I mean. But I also like the smell of Manure on the fields so it might just be me. I haze the smell of freshly cut grass

  • Fly screens (Unrealistic solution but I wanted to mention it)
  • Get a Pet Frog that eats them
  • Get lots of Spiders making Webs. Be aware that the Pet frog might eat the spiders
  • Flood one of your rooms and make a little swamp where you can plant canivourus plants. The issue is that the swamp will breed more mosquito than it kills but the frog will feel right at home
  • Make a small campfire in your bedroom before you go to sleep. It is known that smoke scares them away. Make sure to keep the windows and door closed so no new mosquito get inside. This is probably the most effective as you won't get stung for the rest of you life
  • Catch some mosquitos and suck the blood out of them. The other mosquitos will see their wrongdoings and change their ways

I'm this guy in the picture apparently because I "walk to loud" with my morbidly obese 60kg body.

I miss communities sharing news about the attack of Russia on Ukraine. I was mainly browsing these subs: r/ukraine, r/ukrainewarvideoreport, r/combatfootage, r/ncd Non credible defence seems to be active but the others are pretty empty. These subs had about lets a ton of posts every day

I agree.

To get content from other servers in your main feed you just have to subscribe to the community you want to see the content from. If you are using the website go to "Communities" located at the top bar. When you use the app there should be also a button called "communities" or similar. On the website by default only communities of your own server are shown so select "All" at the top left. Then just select a community you like and press subscribe.

Lol, thanks for sharing that. I came up with this concept myself when I thought about how you could fix this issue while also allowing servers to have duplicates of existing communities on other servers. I hope it will be implemented in the near feature.

I do not have a problem with the nerd/tech bubble being on Lemmy and I am not hostile towards them. I have a problem with them being the ONLY community able to participate because how complicated some aspects of this platform are. Why would Lemmy have to be ONLY "on the nerdy side". Different people with different interests can coexist because you can create whatever community you want and they can also decide what content they want to see or not. Who are you talking about when you say "We". It's not like you or the tech community owns the feediverse. They might host most of the servers because guess what tech savvy people know how to do that but that's just part of the problem.

I strongly disagree with the whole idea of a site going down in quality when everyone uses it. There will be more bad content but only because there will be immensely more content in general which is the major benefit that Reddit had. "Bots, shills, ads" are a side effect of a site being popular and you can't have the one without the other. Reddit did not die a "slow death". Before the whole API things millions of people browsed Reddit everyday and created interesting content. If you don't like r/all the solution is obvious: Don't go there. Only visit the parts of the site that you are interested in. That's the whole concept of the home page. It has nothing to do with users refusing to learn but rather the site making it harder that it has to be.
