I’ve seen the opposite in places like the UK where privatization of public utilities has lead to very high prices, poor customer service, and under investment across the board.
I guess GM have determined that they will come out ahead by losing potential customers with this move but making more money by going the nickel and dime, subscription service route for the customers they manage to keep.
I suspect they're wrong.
It's a very polarizing movie for some reason. I really enjoyed it, so much that I've rewatched it a few times.
What I can't understand it that some people absolutely fucking loathe the movie, just visceral hatred, and I've never seen a good explanation as to why this is.
