My English learning process was me being a eight year old kid who wanted to play diablo. No clue about shit. Barely able to read in the first place and just going from one word which is similar to one in my native language to the next similar one. Like "ok, intelligence looks a lot like intelligenz. Dexterity makes my bow do more damage so it should be something like speed or whatever" so basically trial and error over the years. The pronunciation was accordingly. As an example, strength was "stren g t hö". Not sure how I'm supposed to write what i said back then xD Still to this day from reading and such and not practicing enough speaking English some are way off.
This so much. The thing for me is, pirated I get everything from my library back FOR FREE. So there is no loss money wise for changing things up for me. Without the convenience and fairness there is nothing holding me there. at all.
Not sure if my AdBlock is responsible for not knowing about any of these ads even existing or EU.
For me it would only fit if I realize why it's there well after I blamed EVERYONE else for doing it.
That's not adhd. That's called beeing a human.
I knew it looked wrong but I could not put my finger on it. Thanks for the hint.
Nice. I didn't know there's an actuall name for it. Thanks.
edit: added a missing word
That's a technic I call learning by figuring out. I realized some time ago that information you figure out yourself lasts longer. When some at work for example asks me something I usually only return suggestive questions. Questions wich if they answer them lead them to the answer of their questions. I always get rolling eyes when I do but it helps in two ways. First is they really manifest the wisdom so they don't need to ask me a second time and second they learn relativly fast that they have to think what to ask me and how anoying it is so they ask less frequently but more specific. People hate it but it is benefical for both sides in my opinion.
In Germany we have a word for it. Schadenfreude. translates to something like malicious joy. Basically the pleasure at someone else's misfortune.
https://youtube.com/shorts/_1GRjRH9tKA? https://youtu.be/9c36ujvK9bs? basically just the mechanical parts that are audible. still not like the movies but pretty close. In person i felt like it's actually less loud than in these vids depending on the gun.
The reason I'm pretty much undecided about EVs is the rare metals in the batteries. The pollution by gathering and the inhumane treatment of the workers who extract these resources. I'm still hoping for better alternatives in the energy storage medium
