Sen. Walz posted on Bluesky for people to not go to protests and there were 400 comments of mostly people saying they were going anyways. Was nice to see.

My hunch says that the good people who get into politics, end up staying more local to help their communities directly. The ones who aspire to raise the ranks are the ones you don't want leading to begin with.
Be grateful that someone thought enough about me to make me diner. And perhaps casually suggest we join a cooking class together.

Not to get too real on a green text sub, but I keep a gift tag in my wallet that my mom gave me years ago. Its just a small thing that says "To [my name], Love Mom". I don't even remember what gift it was from but I cherish that tag. Save the little things like that if you can, It will mean more to you than you know later.
Omg you just reminded me of something. In my elementary school, they banned slap bracelets. Not because they could cut you or any "normal" reason like all the other schools, but because they were "gang paraphernalia". Yep. If you wore a slap bracelet in my elementary school, you would get detention cus only gang members wore slap bracelets.

I was goofing around at the park as a kid, and climbed up to the top of a pavilion. I went to get down by grabbing the ledge under the roof and kinda flipping off the edge, but stuck my hand next to a wasp nest without noticing. I got about halfway through my flip and they stung the crap out of my hand, causing me to let go and fall flat on my back onto the concrete below. Screw wasps; Bees are cool though.
