Indeed, every individual who gets to repeatedly skim publicly-traded corporate profits just because they threw some money at it at some point, and then turns around and plays philanthropist... is essentially claiming money that could have been put into more livable wages and more reasonable work conditions for 1000s of people. And we're expected to believe that money is better spent by them, precisely because they don't need it.
LostWon
Wow, I think it's been years. I lost the game (after at first misreading "dug" as "drug"). Good night!
Ahahahahahaaha!

(Yes, they are serious.)
Oh I see. Does it look similar to the picture above? I'm used to the earlier version.
The one most people know from the 1990s (Definitely on Windows 3.1, and probably Win 95) specifically was won only when all non-mine spaces were safely revealed. I know in my own case at least, I determined early on that flags were superfluous and ignored them in favour of better times.
But maybe at some point there was a game mode that let you finish by marking flags only, even when clear squares weren't all revealed? It wouldn't be the main game mode (or even present in the version I know), but I could see if that existed out there somewhere.
edit I saw it confirmed by someone below there are indeed people playing newer versions of the game that have a "guess-free" mode.
Going back to the 1990s, I'm pretty sure we all spelled it "psych," just the same as in the similar expression "psych out." That said, I have no doubt there were different spellings in different places.
If it ever comes to it, rioters are probably going to go after celebrities (possibly including influencers). There seems to be an increasing trend of people being turned off by inauthentic charm and conspicuous consumption, these days. Also, more and more of them seem to have been born into the life (like a child of a celebrity) rather than being elevated from working class life.
Billionaire philanthropy is also frequently a PR thing-- image rehabilitation.
Yeah, this makes the most sense. If they really feared people not voting for them, they would have changed their tune much earlier than this.
He absolutely has to go be prosecuted for war crimes, but if they make this about one person only, then they're just setting the stage for someone even worse to take his place.
The only hope for Israel to have a viable future at this point is not only for every genocide-inciting official and for those who participated in genocidal acts to be prosecuted, but for there to be a proper truth and reconciliation process.
Heard this earlier today, and felt some hope the added pressure could make a difference.
I also learned today that Indonesia is bringing a separate ICJ case about the 75 years of illegal occupation, and president Herzog was informed at the WEF in Switzerland that their Attorney General is considering waiving diplomatic immunity due to criminal charges against him.
If that yacht isn't sunk by orcas, and if it isn't an actual submarine, it'll be some kind of orbiting satellite. But wherever they are, bunkers can only last so long before more supplies are needed.
