Sheeit. If I'm Ukraine I'm holding onto those things and using my own missiles as much as possible until Trump comes into office. Trump cuts off aid, Moscow eats an ATACMS. Zelensky sends Trump a message that simply says, "I'll do it again".
Ukraine then says they'll stop when Trump sends XYZ equipment. They aren't beholden to him unless he actually does send them stuff to make listening worth their time.
I still don't know how open flames for cigarettes and big hair co-existed.
Taiga became popular in 2022. Definitely looking forward to seeing that one around. So many Ice Queen jokes.
Problem, the states control the voting. And it would be very apparent when most of the states sound the alarm that the federal government was unconstitutionally taking that over. We have the alarm systems, we need the response, we need the outrage that such an alarm should cause.
oh no! Anyways...
They did focus groups this past summer about at what point people would stop voting for Trump based on his felonies. The overwhelming answer was if he received a custodial sentence. The double delay signaled to voters that these felonies weren't actually that bad.
Similarly the non action on the Jan 6 case also signaled to voters that it wasn't a big deal. So they didn't feel like they were voting for the guy who tried to murder Congress.
They're not wrong about Lincoln, but they're forgetting Lincoln had an actual civil war.

The accepted wisdom is yes. The people voted for the VP already and that is honored. Worst case scenario is the election ends up in Congress where Vance would win anyways.
And you don't see that as the start of a slope if you were to graph the chance of death at that age? It starts jumping precipitously after 65. And the new age of 67 just gets worse. I'm not sure what you're actual argument here is. The point of the graph is to not grind away your good years and find yourself trying to pack a lifetime of experiences into the years where you start playing hide and seek with Death. Your data doesn't show anything meaningfully different to the average person. If half of us are going to get thanos snapped, you're not going to call that something minor, easily avoided.
As a long time fan of Luke Skywalker in the trek series, I can confirm that Daleks would win any fight.
