I priced it out recently and protonmail is more expensive than paying for Google business email and extra space. I thought about switching but I can't think of a way it will significantly make my life better. I'd rather pay some money so hopefully I'm not the product anymore.

Just upgraded my hardware so I can play Starfield. And I bought an extra SSD just to dual boot linux. My video card is so new I can't get the live usb to show any video.

Everyone else in my situation has to use the onboard graphics to install, but I have none. So I tried this time. But I've gotta use windows. it just works

You can get ReVanced which is a modification of the original YouTube app. It has pretty much everything except DeArrow.

https://github.com/revanced/revanced-manager

You'll need a YouTube APK file and it will patch the app directly on your phone, it will also let you select what "patches" you want. So you can customize your YT experience, but it works exactly like the official app in every other way.

I have every *arr in existence, I don't pay for anything. But I have YT Premium Family. I still use ReVanced for sponsor block and other customization preferences, but I have it for my family so they can be bullshit free on every device.

It is the best Discord alternative, and it can be self hosted. But there's no interconnectivity between instances. So not really a fediverse alternative

Every Larian game so far was exactly like this, they always did early access for cheaper then went full price when it came out of early access.

BG3 was full price from the start, probably because of the money they had to pay WotC for licensing

Amazon changed some things at the beginning of the year, they made it very difficult to get the actual file in azw format. They only let you download kindle unlimited books in their secure kfx(?) format, which current DRM removal plugins are unable to process.

If you buy the book you can goto Content & Devices and download the book in azw3 format which can be processed by the DRM removal plugin.

From what I've read amazon is monitoring the sites where they're developing kfx bypass mechanisms and are sealing up those holes before a public release can be made. Which is irritating because I just hate the Kindle app and prefer MoonReader

Gamepass ultimate has the same thing, you can play games on their cloud servers, some are natively controlled, but for the good ones you need a controller.

My wife wanted to spend more time together, got the 8BitDo controller that holds my phone and I play games while she watches her stories. Works well.

EBook tracker, read their rules then hop on irc for an interview. You can use jackett/prowlarr with MaM to automate Readarr

Its important to have a supplemental block account, that won't generally accede to DMCA requests. The big guys will of course, but they don't get rid of the whole file, so you can grab the remainder from the block account. I can't even think of the last time I wasn't able to download something between my main and block account.

Mine is in the Netherlands, I only use private tracker and Usenet and haven't had any issues. I also have 4TB storage so I run my Plex server off it. Great setup. No notices, or any bullshit really
