No. People like Johnson will get "advisory" positions after congress has been dissolved. They will lack for nothing. Why be a weak government official who has to do stupid shit like running for re-election, when you can be part of the nobility and the King's court? Maybe Johnson or Taylor-Green will get their own little fiefdom where they can treat the peasants however they want? The power trip fantasies are truly endless in Trump's wondrous America.

...for about a 100 people give or take.

Now THAT would end the Republican party forever. And it would be an easy sell for Democrats too.

"Since our president loves democracy and voting integrity so much, let's pass a bipartisan law requiring all eligible citizens to vote or face penalties of fines and imprisonment."

Then watch the mental gymnastics of MAGAs trying to argue how mandatory voting and voting in general is a bad idea.

The "military" is commanded by Trump. Or Hegseth, if you go down the ladder.

As far as I'm aware, the Houthis are a mercenary group financed by Iran and possible other enemies of the US. They have largely only attacked US vessels, since the US is targeted here. In other words, Europeans were not that affected by it although most other merchant vessels started to avoid the Suez route out of caution. One call from the EU to Iran, and their ships would be completely safe. This is not done because it would undermine the US-European defense posture, aka it would "sell out" Americans. But at this point, who cares.

If idiot Vance wants to "bill" Europe for strikes they neither agreed to, or requested, or even knew about, he will find himself out of luck.

"Last time" Trump demanded of his VP to declare the vote count invalid. When his VP wasn't about to do that, he had a mob storm capitol hill. Now, how likely do you think is the possibility JD Vance will would do what Mike Pence did? The only way for him to screw over his boss is if he thinks he will replace him. Which he might, and then everyone is going to wish Trump was still in charge.

First off, Republicans will not ever "flee" to the Democrats. The rules in the MAGA party are very simple: You swear undying fealty to King Trump, and you will win your local elections or at least not get primaried by someone Trump likes better. You step out of line, and your career in politics and possibly life are over. This basically guarantees you your job, which is all 95% of politicians care about.

In fact, you are already seeing Democrats collaborating with Trump for this exact reason. Job security. Principles? Who gives a shit. Ask Fetterman all about it.

Second, the DNC has always been in a civil war with itself. Bernie Sanders is not new (mildly put). But right now that civil war is on a low-burner, because the only "progressive idea" everyone is championing right now is: "Let's have a system where people can vote for their next king...I mean "president". Remember when we did that? We should maybe do that again...somehow".

We have already regressed about 150 years in just 2 months of Trump. Just today Mike Johnson is musing about getting rid of federal judges, the pitiful mini-check on Trumps power. The Democratic party will either have to engage in good old streetfights and become a revolutionary party, or they will find themselves in concentration camps. And that is not hyperbole. When Hitler finally had free reign after dismantling the German constitution via bullshit, the first thing he did is put the socialists and communists in camps. He did that LONG before he ever moved against jews. Killing the opposition party is always step one.

I don't think Yang is a congressman. He lost all elections. Did he win a state election somewhere? The Forward party is doing pretty well though. Yang is only a co-founder for it and gets wheeled out for meetups sometimes. I thought about joining up since I like their platform, but they also seem to be pretty do-nothing but bitch and moan. My rule is very simple. First party to throw molotov cocktails gets my vote and throwing-arm.

Ketamin. Elon is on Ketamin and I wish I was joking. Most of the administration is, and Thiel is their supplier.

Is it okay yet to admit that Israelis and zionists are evil, or still not acceptable no matter how many other cultures they are genociding? I'm not going down the rabbit hole of "jews" because I personally know many other jews who are completely horrified by what Israel is doing in their name. But it begs the question. If this is the end-result...do jews "really" need or deserve their own homeland? Did so many of them survive an effort to genocide them, only to do the exact same to others now for no other reason than grabbing clay and religious fanaticism?

If the I in "AIPAC" stood for "Italy", people would have questions...

Well it seems to make quite a bit of noise right now in the MSM. As for the absence of outrage... I feel like everyone understands this administration is completely incompetent and no one is surprised. I wouldn't even bat an eye if Goldberg gets invited to yet another Signal chat called "We must kill Goldberg to send a message". I'm just glad that the anti-Europe attitude is on full display yet again, hopefully serving as yet another wake up call for Europe to ban every single American from entering the continent and closing down any and all cooperation with the failed state that is the US.

Yeah. Both on r/worldnews and r/europe. Not in smaller national subreddits though, where people are up in arms about the Europe comments. I don't understand why Reddit would seek to censor these leaks, as they are already disseminated across the MSM everywhere.
