Safari too, part of default tracking prevention, though both browsers miss a lot of tracker types, so extensions are still needed to handle the rest.

I enjoy putting arguments/realizations like these on the mantle as trophies for every time I’ve been wrong.

Sometimes I’m asked about this embarrassment of riches. How come I have so many?

They don’t know I have more upstairs. What they see down here are just my favs, the real whoppers.

Anyway my go-to response of course is “why how many do most people have” then offer to freshen their drink.

We have a postdoc union here. Similar unions exist or are forming at competing schools. Hopefully experiences like those in the article become less common.

Their genetics have sacrificed nearly every aspect of basic resiliency for maximum speed on the plains. Most of the work caring for horses is keeping them from accidentally killing themselves. Full disclosure: I worked as a stable hand as a child in exchange for riding lessons. Will never ever own a horse.
