As far as I can gather, Valve explicitly advises developers to avoid targeting Linux when building or optimizing for the Steam Deck, instead focusing on optimizing around Proton.

What have you been using for cloud backups? in c/linux@lemmy.ml

seconding SDF. they’ve also got great resources such as a cool mastodon server/lemmy/etc. the unix shell is neat too

Only works on Ubuntu though last I heard (and not even downstream distros), which is somewhat unfortunate

I think LLM coding tools kill the need for 99% of language fluency and expertise in c/technology@hexbear.net

agree with OP but its more than a gibberish machine for most modern implementations. copilot agent mode is good
