It was a typical season 2 for a show where season 1 was well liked.

In other words, it is trash.

Watchable for effects and because we cared in the first season, but by the end we no longer care.

The Last of Us season 2 is similar- I just watched it and the producer should be ashamed. Season 1 was the best television in years: Season 2 is trash.

Never accept a salesman or CEO apology or “explanation” for bad choices.

They’re only sorry you stopped using/paying them. They aren’t sorry for their words, actions, or intentions.

The results speak for themselves.

The distance that China has risen in the last 50 years is directly opposed to how the USA has fallen by most objective measures of its people over the same half century.

China learns, grows, prunes, and fosters advancement in its people.

America quarrels and punches its own walls when it isn’t busy bombing other countries.

To let those corrupt leaders know that we know, and will work to get them exactly what traitors deserve.

They should have also thrown tomatoes.

Rotten ones, like the corrupted leadership of Columbia U.

Brain organoids have been around for a while. You can even rent their processing power.

They have issues, including a hard limit to their lifetime and growth potential. And the ethics involved shouldn’t be underestimated.

They can and have been wired up to animals and when they do- they start vascularizing and growing and influencing the organism they are attached to.

As an organoid, they probably lack the majority of things that would cause suffering- but we have used this “logic” to torture humans and animals in the past, so I am not fully convinced.

I am also extremely interested in what these organoids can eventually lead to- but we need to not judge based on clickbait articles and use actual science and ethics to proceed.
