I’m still in awe of the great template you created for the OG 1701 Constitution-class. It really is an unmistakable image.

This is earlier, mid 2380s, not the 25th century when Picard and STO take place.
@khaosworks@startrek.website would have the best estimate of the date.
But if Kim got the catch up promotions he well deserved, he could be a lieutenant commander by this point. We’ll see.
It’s reloading but I don’t think you can drop pixels anymore.
No throwaway given the number of relationships that don’t seem likely to move forward after the episode.
Looks great to me.
Showed honour for Trek fandom.
Just over two hours to go. Here’s how our StarTrek space is doing…
Lieutenant Kim, one hopes.
I’m enjoying the weekly comics posts.
We usually wait to get the omnibus editions rather than order one by one. (Our local independent comic book store does better with special ordering those although they carry the occasional individual issue.)
So it’s good to get user reviews to help decide which ones to invest in.
I’ll try to get some book reviews up of the new releases. We got in all the Prodigy books as a show of support, so I was planning to give them a quick read.
I can see why you felt it necessary. The flags of Ireland has apparently grown into the wordmark.
I am adding a Vulcan IDIC hand emoji in between things for much the same reason.
More than welcome.
I confess I was up later than I should have been putting pixels on our StarTrek Canvas space. When I saw that breaking, I knew folks here would want the news asap.
It’s been altogether strangely managed from a strategic communications angle.
The mods have decided to have weekly comic reviews to help get the Treklit (book and comic) discussion going here.
Suggest you look at the thread under @USSBurritoTruck@startrek.website’s pinned review this week of the newest issues of Defiant and Dog of War. You can also scan their listing of posts for other comic reviews. (I believe an earlier issue of Dog of War was reviewed a couple of weeks back.)
I haven’t myself got to these two series yet. (I usually wait for the omnibuses.)
My own take on IDW’s StarTrek comics is that they are picking up again overall in writing, art and even printing/binding after what seems to have been a bit of a meh period of mixed quality. Definitely worth checking out if you are into comics and open to stories that take place in timelines other than the onscreen alpha canonical ones.
My unexpected favourite recently has been the Lower Decks series. I was very doubtful that they could find a writer who could capture the humour and voice of the show. Eisner winner Ryan North nailed it, and Chris Fenoglio’s art is true to the animation.
