Yes, as you know he is against all religious minorities, and Buddhism is one of them

Should some suggested books or resources be added for a general introduction? Starting directly with sutras isn't really helpful in my opinion.

Bodh Gaya: Hundreds of Buddhist monks and members of the OBC, SC, and ST communities have been staging an indefinite hunger strike for the past four days in front of the office of the Mahabodhi Mahavihar Temple Management Committee. Their demand is clear: the complete transfer of Mahabodhi Mahavihar to Buddhist monks and the removal of the Brahmin priest who currently holds a key position in the temple’s management.

“There is not a single thing That does not arise interdependently. Therefore there is not a single thing That is not emptiness.

Everything that arises interdependently Is unceasing and unborn, Neither non-existent nor everlasting, Neither coming nor going, Neither multiple nor single, To this teaching that pacifies all complexity, The most sacred speech of the perfect Buddha, I pay homage!”

Root Verses of the Middle Way, XXIV, 19

I’ve begun discontinuing many US services in favor of EU ones. However, I’ve noticed that some individuals, instead of simply ceasing to use American products, resorted to illegally downloading everything. While it’s true that the money goes to the US when you pay, it can’t justify disrespecting others’ hard work and effort while still consuming or using their products, and it is also illegal. This is especially true considering that they likely don’t have any direct connection to MAGA. This applies to actors, directors, YouTubers, and many others. We should simply cease using their products without giving them any further consideration.

Edit: adding to the last line, we should give instead more attention to locally and European made creations and products

Guess which one is the only country that didn’t state support. Why did you think of Italy? (I’m Italian)

It was a really nice discovery, I’ve quitted chatGPT and using it as main AI reference

I’m a dual practitioner of Zen and Pure Land Buddhism, and I practice both zazen and nembutsu separately. In my city, there’s a small Soto Zen temple, so I visit it a couple of times a week for my practice sessions. However, I also practice by myself twice a day, and I always make an effort to be mindful of Amitabha Buddha.

“Great [Bodhisattvas develop] great compassion by ten kinds of observations of sentient beings: they see sentient beings have nothing to rely on for support; they see sentient beings are unruly; they see sentient beings lack virtues; they see sentient beings are asleep in ignorance; they see sentient beings do bad things; they see sentient beings are bound by desires; they see sentient beings drowning in the sea of Birth and Death; they see sentient beings chronically suffer from illness; they see sentient beings have no desire for goodness; they see sentient beings have lost the way to enlightenment. [Bodhisattvas] always observe sentient beings with these awarenesses.”

And it is in the US, wow!

Italian here, I feel ashamed of our PM. It is even more ridiculous how she endorsed the relationship with US just a couple of weeks ago and then Trump started doing even more shitty things.
