That said, the Zionist lobby is very much a real, documented and registered (with lobbyists and think tanks) phenomenon of the anglosphere. The media bias in favour of Israel (in direct contrast to what's happening in E Europe) is very much a product of the fact that Israel is one of the last bastions of western colonialism and a very useful lightning rod for antagonists in the surrounding countries which allows shipping through the suez canal to be mostly left alone.
