I really like Vallejo burnt red.

Vallejo black (super basic I know)

Vallejo German cammo dark green

Vallejo Metal Color gunmetal grey

Citidel Retributor armor.

These are just the ones I use a lot and enjoy using. I also really like ProAcryl for vivid base coats. Citidel paints are great for dry brushing. Don't use contrast very often but recently discovered that I get really nice yellows by painting something skin tones and shading before finishing with one of citidel's yellow contrast paints.

I have some random no name brands for brush on primer. Generic art store brushes for base coats. Found an ancient Testors brush that ive been using for metallic details and has kept it's fine tip for a rather surprising long time. I have a few Windsor and Newton brushes that I really like, but my Artis Opus S #2 is just too good and has become my detail workhorse. It's a bigger brush, but comes to such a fine point that I don't need anything smaller, and it's size doesn't dry out as fast. I bought the big set, but only use the one brush.
