Given that half the accounts commenting here are incendiary puppet accounts designed to sow outrage, I'm not sure if matters if they do.

My faith in lemmy users actually replying to facts and informative posts like this without some type of online emotional outburst or downvotes is pretty much nil at this point.

If only that average Joe had access to some type of information network on which to look it up, if only. But alas...
