I’m obsessed with an extremely little known language called Grain. It’s not quite ready for production but it has an insanely intuitive functional syntax that I want to use noww.

This idea reminds me of an observation I’ve often had, which is that there are no true auteurs, in other words, nothing creative or special is ever the product of one person. Even in the most extreme case of an artist who lives their whole life without ever being discovered, there is also the person who eventually discovers the legacy and does the work of making it accessible to people, not to mention all the people who validate the life’s work by viewing it and relating it to their lives.

What the idea does for me is it helps me understand that I don’t need to “complete the universe” with what I do, in other words, the way OP put it is great.

The headline made me chuckle slightly, because it sort of amounts to “game company, having finished a game, is working on more games,” but I’ll give it a pass because I did hear Metroid Dread was good.

It’s cool that they’re working on solutions to the problem, but my understanding is that VAC is not something currently solvable within the constraints of a tiny headset. At least right now. As proof, consider the fact that Apple didn’t mention a “light engine“ in their marketing, because, if they had that, you know they would market the shit out of it.

That’s right. I think with a little training you’ll surprise yourself OP.
