When I first becoming politically aware, I was utterly shocked by people, intelligent in some ways, saying they vote Republican because their family is Republican. Like they were voting for the Dodgers.

I think people are so easily swayed by what they’re told about themselves that very often when the women are told that they’re more liberal, they adopt it to be good group members, and when the men are told that they’re more conservative, they adopt it to be good group members.

The headline frames hypocrisy as the sin rather than the silencing of climate protest.

I understand there will be no consequences for the media kings, but I wonder about the levels below. They can’t all be in a position to skip out on what they are flirting with on behalf of America.

Does the press think there will be some protective force field for them if they succeed in setting America alight?
