This is true, however delivering the essential things in the most elegant way possible is also somthing that requires time and effort

I can see how it could be useful to create scripts to automatically set different configurations based on your setup, e.g. you have one script for when you're working with your monitor on the right, one for when you're connecting it to a tv and want to duplicate your screen, etc...

I really appreciate how this program is available on other OSes. Even though linux-exclusive software can be a reason for people to switch to it, I think using gtk software "native" to linux can be a way for people to familiarize with the interface and realize that it's not complicated at all.
