It sounds to me like they are in the wrong, so I'm not sure what to do other than say, whatever. Not everyone is reasonable.

Yeah. If you give me access to the current system, I could migrate it to a new server in a few hours. I host with DigitalOcean, so they support pretty much anything imaginable.

Does it matter if LemmyNSFW gets defederated? I don't really care to see regular stuff on here. I'm here for porn.
I'm not in favor of banning things that aren't illegal (or illegal adjacent like loli). It would be awesome to be able to automatically filter things like scat, but outright banning it in my mind sends the message that this instance is not friendly to niche communities. That's my two cents.
