The RF economy is at a place were normal metrics probably do not say much. Just call it failed and distrust anything they publish at this point. As far as I am concerned "inflation" is too technical/abstract an indicator for people to relate to anyway.

I have had the A750 for a year+ now and play most games on Linux. mainly indy games and path of exile. PoE plays better under Linux than Windows, by far. I have not had driver issues at all (or that were noticeable to me) but it isn't like I have tested it extensively.

If you are into PoE then you may know about how unplayable blight, esp blight ravaged maps can be. Slide show or worse for me on Windows with both the A750 and with the older NVIDIA card I had before. Under Linux it plays quite well except with things hit hyper density of mobs situations and even then its still playable.

Since they still exist, only time will tell if the promise of nuclear power and/or cryptocurrencies come to be.

AGI and even IMHO AI do not exist. Whatever product is being marketed as AI isn't what I would consider AI. "AI" can have its uses but I really do not think they will be what people expect because it fundamentally lacks what I would consider crucial aspects of human intelligence.

AI makes for a very good grammar checker. It is good at producing filler content for SEO. And it is good at producing "stuff" that looks like it could be right. Probably will have some uses in creative work since it doesn't have to be "correct" so as a tool to aid an artist, that's seems pretty cool - I'm sure that is already happening. It will have its uses and a lot of companies will find out the hard way, it is not that they think. That's my prediction.

"Artificial intelligence" is for the marketing department's benefit. At least mainly so. What people envision with the term AI is because of preconceived notions based science fiction not what it actually is.

I bet you don't even use a Dvorak keyboard.

"For the security" is starting to sound a lot like "for the children". I hope this works out better than secure boot. When these new ideas emerge that have, let's call them, "side effects" like disabling ad-blockers or preventing Linux from being installed I am suspicious.

Use DNS filtering. I use NextDNS which has a free tier that meets my needs. You can add popular filter lists and your browser will never even see those ads, trackers etc. Or you can use Vivaldi and Firefox of course. But DNS cuts it off before it even gets to your machine.

King Arthur is awesome. I also buy olive oil and einkorn flour from Jovial. Einkorn is in the ancient grain category I guess and I find more digestible than typical flour. It is a bit different tasting and to work with, so its not a straight 1 to 1 replacement however. https://jovialfoods.com/einkorn/flour/

According to Dianeosis, an Athens-based think tank, about 70 percent of Greeks had a favourable view of Russia before the full-blown war in Ukraine. That fell to 50 percent after the 2022 invasion and to 30 percent last year.

North Korea version 2, unpopular you say?

But my point is that, that is due to one's choices. You don't actually have to get married, have kids, get on the career treadmill. But also some do not even get to have these choices, so have no choice but to follow a non-traditional path. People with disabilities, people who living in places where they are displayed due to political instability, poverty, war etc.

Someone growing up in Ukraine right now, probably wont consider this to be the happiest time in their lives. A person with a disability struggling to establishing independence over even basic life activities. People who just say f--k it.

Weird article. I think if in your middle aged years you are the most unhappy, its because you have not made the right decisions for yourself. Too many people chase the things they are told will make them happy rather than what they like and know made them happy. Doing what you are "supposed" to do. Alternative paths have their hardship but for me at least, I don't have the kind of complaint I hear from others. You always have to make some kind of compromise...
