Don't know how this area of Lemmy came to me. But from the UK, I don't think Starmer is disliked. He inherited over a decade of conservatives hiding the deficit and is trying to fix it despite the costs and anger. Also standing up for his values is pretty cool. I voted for him and undecided, he has a few years to figure it out.
Not hated though.
Right now, as someone not from the US, star spangled banned would ruin the evening more than anything else I could think of. Everyone can recognize it, arguments would follow.
I literally cannot imagine a situation where the whole group doesn't sing along to this. This is a batter answer to, 'what song to bring people out of their shells?'

Had to cover someone at work who was off sick and I missed 2 weeks of classic wow raids. Felt great and uninstalled it immediately. Never going back.
