It's pretty hit or miss though... I've had lots of good calculations with the odd wrong one sprinkled in, making it unreliable for doing maths. Mostly because it presents the result with absolute certainty.

I know. It's still baffling how much it messes up when adding two numbers.

they are both shit at adding and subtracting numbers, dates and whatnot... they both cant do basic math unfortunately

yes! this! is chatgpt intelligent: no! does it more often than not give good enough answers to daily but somewhat obscure ans specific programming questions: yes! is a person on SO intelligent: maybe. do they give good enough answers to daily but somewhat obscure ans specific programming questions: mostly

Its not great for complex stuff, but for quick questions if you are stuck. the answers are given quicker, without snark and usually work

the good thing if it gives you the answer in a programming language is that its quite simple tontestvif the output is what you expect, also a lot of humans hive wrong answers...

and copilot and chatgpt give good enough answers without being unfriendly

did you even watch the movie?

[–] focus@lemmy.film 2 points 1 year ago

tenet was way worse in the sound department, i didn't understand a sinle word, while oppenheimer was ok-ish

[–] focus@lemmy.film 4 points 1 year ago

just watched it in a barbenheimer combo. the dialogue wasn't as clear as in barbie, but much better than tenet! So still 'nolany' dialogue, but well watchable without subtitles.

Depending on the type of book you need, libgen.is can be really useful
