Oh absolutely. He's a slimy little fuckstain.

[–] forrgott@lemmy.sdf.org 5 points 5 hours ago

Well, that describes a lot of the worthless fucks in Washington...

[–] forrgott@lemmy.sdf.org 2 points 6 hours ago

Ok. Never said that.

[–] forrgott@lemmy.sdf.org 5 points 6 hours ago

Definitely. But leave it up to the capitalists and you just know that they'll let shit slide because "engagement".

I agree. But abandoning your empathy is a great way to become one of the intolerant ones. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

That's a pretty damn thin line, and a recipe for hypocrisy while you're at it.

No, abandoning your empathy is not gonna lead anywhere good.

Deciding what content is acceptable on social media platforms "engenders considerable debate among reasonable people about where to draw the correct proverbial line," X said. "This is not a role that the government may play."

Bullshit. That is absolutely a suitable role for elected officials. And it is NOT a role he has any business assigning himself.

Sounds like they convinced you instead. Because taking pleasure in the misery of others is precisely what they're all about.

Not likely. The Steam Deck represents a tiny fraction of their user base. Totally different business model.

And they're obviously banking on continued brand loyalty; they're just opening up the system a bit (finally!). But it's a pretty safe bet somebody who buys an Xbox branded machine is still likely to spend a lot in the Xbox store.

Umm...okay.

Not sure why that's relevant...?

[–] forrgott@lemmy.sdf.org 1 points 9 hours ago (4 children)

Umm, this sounds like an absurd argument. I have multiple storefronts installed on my Steam Deck. Didn't cost $1,000....

Do you have an Nvidia card? I found this post on Microsoft's support forums. I am a Linux nerd myself, so I'm not sure how useful this will be. Definitely sounds like something to do with your driver settings, though.

Best of luck figuring it out!
