Re-read what I said then try again.

Your point was that users can use arch install scripts to automate some of the setup process.

I countered by saying they could just use a distro that has an installer integrated directly into it.

I also added that in your mind, there is no legitimate reason to use an arch derivative. This highlights your bias.

What was I missing, exactly?

People are calling them Nazis because they support fascism.

Ask any republican if they'd rather live in a democratic society that is communist or a fascist one that is capitalist and all of them will say they prefer fascism.

They also support religious nationalism and governing based on emotions rather than logic and reason.

There are many parallels between republicans and Nazis. This is why the overwhelming majority of neo-nazis are conservative.

Whew, saved me clicking on this bullshit.

Thank you. Journalistic integrity is hard to come by.

It's clear white people are struggling to keep up with the Saudis.

It's not really a waste if it makes richer people richer as quickly as possible.

There'd only be a problem if that wasn't the case.

As with most things, take it from the wealthy.

If it ever seems like there's not enough to go around, blame those who have too much. We could solve these problems, but not while protecting the profits of the ruling class.

Yes, France clearly needs the right to bear arms just like Iran does.

Remember all the uproar happening in Iran last year? What happened? Did they topple their abusive regime without guns or foreign intervention?

Everyone was calling them so brave and now it's just silence.

Yeah. Keep in mind the rich people of this would would gladly rape babies if it made them more money.

Seeing a thread get locked just for asking if it's okay to disagree with trans people's identities really rubbed me the wrong way. I don't want moderators pushing their agenda on to me. If I see something I don't like, I can block that user or community. It'd be nice to block entire instances, but I don't think we have that feature yet.

Does anyone know of any instances that don't have stringent rules that exist to push a narrative? I'm cool with some moderation, like for spam and illegal content.

It's a horrific oversight that the designers thought it would be okay for instances to block instances, but not users. Why are we cool with letting others control what we see but not ourselves? Either I block all NSFW or I'm showered with porn? I'd rather have the ability to block porn instances than have to block every user posting on them. It's also really stupid because these users could be posting something elsewhere that I'd like to see. All in all, I'd like the designers to take a good, cold, hard look at who is making these decisions and why they're listening to them.

It really doesn't make sense to give instances this control but not users. I'm a huge fan of empowering users to be their own moderators, not relying on overlords with an agenda to do it for them.

There's no point in arguing. No point in fighting. Just walk out the door and never look back.
