It's too early to decide which Citra fork to get behind yet. PabloMK7's Citra fork existed before the Yuzu takedown and has ex-Citra contributors involved, so it's probably a good bet to use already. Lemonade might go somewhere. I'm skeptical of Lime3DS, last I checked the commits were mostly cosmetic changes and readme edits.

Ares has a N64 core that's mostly homegrown (not based on any existing emulator like Mupen) and has a lot of promise. It's actually probably already the best N64 emulator, but I don't think many people know that.
