"The director tells me it could have been done in 72 hours if we were allowed to make it even more inhumane / unsafe"

Fixed that for you.

So the only people that get to enjoy dining outside are smokers? Nah nah that's going too far.

They wanna smoke? GTFO of the entire eating area away from the entrance and suck their cancer stick there.

A better version would entail a 16-ish year gap between the peak of the name, and the peak of thefts. Clearly implying it's the babies named Corey (or the lack of them) causing the thefts.

As is, this would imply the parents who name their babies Corey are responsible for the thefts, or drop as it were. Not a horrible correlation, but not as amusing nor accurate for correlating one's own name and their eventual life outcomes.

For sure I can agree didn't see musk coming. But I for sure saw them doing all the project 2025 things they said they weren't going to do. You know how I knew they were lying? 🤦

yeah, i had a sense it would get like this, "they learned their lessons; there's no more adults in the room; they are vengeful" but I won't pretend I truly appreciated the full scope of the damage that would be attempted, no less accomplished. And as you said, not even 100 days. I have a lot of friends and colleagues who's jobs have been impacted. Which also means I have some depressing insights into the impacts at some of the agency's that will inevitably impact the services they provide. It ain't gonna be pretty if there isn't a "fix it" phase that follows the current "break things" phase.

Oh I think SpaceNoodle saw the humor as well. They just leaned into it with a sharp edge.
