I ran a kbin instance, which kbin forked, and man it was so resource heavy compared to lemmy. Quite expensive to run at scale. Has mbin fork helped with that?

Like I said, I base performance without frame gen. 5090 is not twice as powerful as a 4090, which they advertise, without frame gen.

Not every game has frame gen.. not everybody wanna introduce lag to input. So 50% is 100% sketchy marketing. You can keep your 7 frames, Imma wait for 6090

They weren't for me on my fresh install, so something must have happened. Either user or system error. Either way, it's an easy thing to troubleshoot.
