@Strit @ivandelviejo

The few euros that reach the projects, helps fund development. There are also some apps on Steam and it is the same idea.

@eager_eagle

Many app projects do not have the infrastructure to accept donations (but som do: check the individual pages of each app or donate through GitHub).

You donate to KDE, and that reverts to the project maintainers, developers and other contributors.

Support Good People and Adopt an App!

Our developers are volunteers, but they still need funding to travel to meetings and events, take time off their day job to implement those crucial features, and buy or rent equipment and server space.

You can help: Adopt an App during our #fundraiser and give our contributors the resources they need!

Donate to our Fundraiser, Support Good People!

@gnome, @tdforg, @fsfe and many other community-driven Free and Open Source organizations are the Good People of the tech world.

This year we are asking you consider them (and also maybe us!) when you #donate. Help out the people that fight for your digital rights, your privacy,and your right to not be exploited by predatory corporations in the tech industry.

KUnifiedPush: KDE's efficient way of delivering notifications to your apps

KUnifiedPush, KDE's client library for the UnifiedPush protocol, has reached version 1.0.0. KUnifiedPush provides a way to deliver notifications instantly to multiple apps on your devices even if the apps are not running.

Ideal for social media, weather and instant messaging apps, it will also contribute to improving the battery life on your mobile devices.

@cyborganism @Xeroxchasechase

That is _exactly_ what kio-gdrive does. If it is not working for you, there is an error in your configuration or a bug in your distro's packaging of the software.

It's an oldish HP Spectre with a foldable touchscreen from 2018.

Actually works very well.
