Yes you can on lemmy-ui. Go to setting and you can find the related sort options. It actually saves those setting in your account.

By any post/comment on the lemmy-ui you will see a star. That bookmarks the post/comment.

On liftoff, bookmark icon right upfront of you. You can also do an extended swipe from right to bookmark too.

Instance of lemmy like lemmy.world, lemmy.ml or beehaw.org are the servers which host the software running lemmy. Communities are the hosted on those instances.

It's pretty obvious if you go through the docs.

It only shows currently subscribed communities (of each instance) under the hamburger menu.
