My magical washing machine somehow knows how to do those things without an internet connection.

'Fall' is not used to describe autumn in most places outside the US.
If you have any experience hosting stuff it's really easy to do using Lemmy-Ansible.
I made my own instance for fun and decided to open it up for the few people who might be interested in joining.
Where do you find a non-smart TV these days? Seems like nobody makes them anymore

Just in case the issues you're referring to are the 'This account is rate limited' problem when trying to search for apps while using an anonymous account, I've found a workaround:
-
Make sure Aurora Store has permission to open supported links (Open by default) in the app's settings, and add the available Play Store links. (If you have the Play Store on your phone you'll likely need to first remove them from there)
-
Search for the app you want in your browser and copy the link.
-
Paste the link in a messaging/notes app.
-
Click the pasted link and it should open in Aurora Store, allowing you to install it.
In settings there's a 'Gestures & Glide typing' option. It does say that it currently only supports US English, so if you have another language set that could be the issue?
That's also meant to be changing with the next major release though.
I suppose it's only really an issue if you use that feature, though I rarely did, even when I was still using Gboard 🤷 Apart from that Florisboard is really solid.
Florisboard. It has glide-typing, and I found it to be better than AnySoftKeyboard. Main downside is it doesn't have next-word suggestions yet, but that's planned for the next major release.
Sweet. I PMd you Saints Row as the other commenter also asked for Bioshock.
Do you have a preference between those two?
To my knowledge, they're not very common in the US because their low voltages in households means that kettles take ages to boil.
