Mutually exclusive events. If someone is lying we usually want to know if they're lying. If they are lying we will trust them less.

I haven't thought about this possibility but it makes sense -- the infrastructure is in place for this kind of approach and it's certainly cheaper than the former theory in the first place.

Lovecraftian horror games. There have been some games in recent years but I think there's definitely a larger design space for this kind of thing. This could mix with other genres as well like survival and potentially rogue-like stuff.

Best of luck to her. Would they want to try performing a typical delivery or a C-section? I would think the latter but I'm no expert.

It always impresses me how seemingly every corporation adopts this mindset of not needing the "little guy" to function. Like their company isn't made up of "little guys" that produce their given product.

Not so great. My Grandma passed away a few days ago due to breast cancer. I got to see her and say what I wanted to say to her about a month ago but it doesn't make the hurt go away.
