Thanks for the rec!

Just got a surface duo i will use for nintendo ds emulation, so when i get my new gamepad and stylus in the mail later this week i will pick up and start an old ds game i have never played. But i havent decided yet so im not really answering your question.....

Thanks! Cant really find any passive ones for sale in my country and ordering online from amazon or ebay becomes quite expensive with shipping and taxes. I found a used surface pen on a local online market so I made a request for that. Thanks for letting me know about those, this stylus stuff is confusing....

Just a site visit as part of a larger trip in the country (some knowledge exchange stuff in a hydro power company i used to work for), so we were visiting several parts of the power plants down the Aconcagua valley among other areas. This was the highest point of that particular part of the trip.

This is so strange. I have almost been there.... on a work trip where i visited the hydro power plant just 50-100 meters down the road. Had no idea that was there...

Stylus for Surface Duo? (sh.itjust.works)

I just bought a second-hand surface duo running android for the sole purpose of emulating nintendo ds. I want a stylus to emulate that part of the experience, but all styluses are a lot more expensive than i anticipated. But they seem to include stuff i really dont need such as bluetooth connectivity and such like.

Can i just get any pointy plastic thing to use as a stylus or do i need one of these that connect to the phone?

is this intended from denuvo's side?

Perfect, thank you! I had heard about aurora, but forgot about it so thanks for reminding me

I recently got a used surface duo for the sole purpose of emulating nintendo ds and 3ds. I have retroarch running with Desmume but as far as i understand, drastic offers better performance on android.

I know i can get it on the play store (for now at least), but i dont have a google account (and i will not sign up for one). I can see that there are many sites offering downloads of an .apk, but they all seem pretty shady to me.

What would be the best way to get a malware-free .apk for drastic? Am i better of waiting for it to go open source and build it myself?

Yes, i'll be very weary of giving up the control I have through physical drives and jellyfin for some shiny new thing that will never last. Fool me once... etc. etc.

So i am not concerned about the way i consume the content, but i am sharing it with family and am concerned that the way they consume it can comromise me.

I.e. smart TV or apple TV phones home with "this person watched a file called The.Matrix.H264.PirateGroup.mkv from jellyfin.myserver.com"

Well i am concerned about it because i am distributing it. It is my server, someone else is using it on their apple tv

Ok thanks! The price of not really knowing how things work is apparently paranoia cries in technical illiteracy

This is maybe a little paranoid but... i have a jellyfin server that i let some family members use. one of them intends to use an app for apple tv, which i think is swiftfin or something like that. i am a bit skeptical about smart-TVs and the data they phone home with, so i was wondering if there is any chance that i could be compromised due to the linux isos i host on jellyfin due to some sneaky smart-TV stuff?

What is considered the best/safest way to pirate printed magazines? On the Awesome Piracy-repo, there are some links, but they either don't work or look sus (except for maybe magazinelib.com).

If you endulge in free printed magazines, what is your preferred way?
