Labour are out next election. They have tried to break up the unions and now there is a huge hatred of them amongst blue collar workers. Life long labour voters will switch to voting for minor parties. Drawings of nazi albanese are up of lunch room walls all over the place

Look for specific city communities if you are going there and ask questions. Don't be too broad though, ask about things you've heard about or food places you'd like to try.

What I came here to write

Actions of a few individuals do not define a nation. Are all Australians the romper stomper Asian haters of the 1990's? No we are not. Or the people that hoarded toilet paper for their own gains, again no we are not. I was in China in December 2019 and there was an effort by many people to inform that there was a virus going around and that I should be extra careful. They did not do that for their benefit and many risked the embarassment of attempting to speak English to a foreigner. Then there were people trying to sell me a mask for 100 times inflated price for their own gain. People are people and some will take an opportunity even if it negatively affects others. Doesn't mean everyone there is a cunt.

My kids are in similar situation but now 12 and it is not about stopping access anymore but fostering good habits. I still have app type and time limits but they are clever and figure ways around but still ask me if they can do things. I think it works

Very down to earth people. Telling us they want to go outside in the summer so they won't be working for a bit was a bit of a stab at us basement dwellers

Yeah it's disheartening to hear good people being hurt by dodgy employers. Need to document everything but where is the incentive for a working holiday maker to fight federal agencies. Especially after they have left the country.

My own experience working in the nt was one of attempted exploitation but I knew my rights and wasn't going to be deported so I choose to fight back. Very different story for someone who's passport is of another nation.

Half of Australia are migrant's or children of migrant and I believe that's what makes this country great. Let's hope this doesn't scare of future Australians from moving here.

Why must I agree to be terms and conditions to play a game I bought 10 years ago? I just wanted to play some Civ. 2k games are the prime example of what is wrong with the world of gaming.
