lol, that's how I did my trip to Germany. I got my first hotel for only a few days, then decided when/where to go next based on that. Rinse-Repeat for a few weeks

I didn't see them advocate for not voting. I also never saw them blame the Democrats for this.
I did see them accurately point out that the party that is supposed to be the opposition to this stuff is doing nothing, and I don't see why the Democrats shouldn't be called out for that.
I use rsync for a similar system. One of the nice things is that you can set a bandwidth limit so that it doesn't saturate your family's internet connections.
