Dog shit voter turnout isn't committing no mistakes, it's the definition of a mistake.
Expecting the US to not maintain its monopoly on the demonym "American" is the same thing as expecting dogs not to bark at the mailman. Other western hemisphere countries shouldn't have dragged ass becoming independent.
They were right to. Everybody who abstained from voting is going to end up getting their comeuppance now, and I'm not going to feel bad for them.
