The superdelegate system that caused very real controversy in 2016 was changed after that. Superdelegates no longer get to vote in the first round, so they only influence the outcome if there's a contested convention. I believe they also decreased how many superdelegates there are

Yes, she wasn't picked by Democratic primary voters

Elizabeth Warren ran for the nomination and lost, and gave a full-throated endorsement of Biden after she withdrew

The right has started to eat itself alive. Only the most "ideologically pure" remain, and ideological purity in MAGA terms means not trusting anything except whatever they make up in the moment, which leads them to not trust each other. This is making it really difficult for them to agree on much of anything, which is why they have no political platform and do nothing except obstruct

Thanks for the original source. One wonders what the South China Morning Post's angle might be to incorrectly phrase it like they did

You'll notice only the last seven words are actually a quote. Almost certainly this is a mashup of expressing concern that Iran will attack Israel and a statement that US intelligence thinks Iran would choose military targets.

Not feeling depressed (euthymia) and feeling depressed (dysthymia) are emotional states that can be influenced by but exist independently of someone's circumstances. I encounter people who are homeless a lot in my work, and a good chunk of them are euthymic af, while there are a ton of people who have all their needs met and who are dysthymic af.

Emotional states have a lot more to do with genetic predisposition and learned behavior than most people would care to acknowledge, rather than situational factors

I won't be surprised if we find out he was a Scientologist all along.

Definitely this, you can drink H2O no problem, but H2O2 and you're going to have a bad time. And yes, probably no need to have brominated vegetable oil in our food at all.

Some popular drinks that contain BVO include Gatorade, Mountain Dew, Fanta Orange, Fresca, Squirt, Sunkist Pineapple, and some flavors of Powerade.

Yeah all of these are killing you with sugar, too

Disney already owned well over 50% of Hulu, many of their shows on there are already on Disney+ outside the US. IMO this is nothing like Disney buying Star Wars or Marvel or ESPN or Fox.

Here's a list of companies that Disney created shortly before the buyout was confirmed.

Those are companies that Disney has acquired over decades, they didn't create any of them

He confessed because he got a plea deal and immunity from prosecution. The problem was the immunity only covered one jurisdiction, and he was liable in more than one jurisdiction
