Yioto is a great indie dev with lots of gems, but if particularly recommend Antiyoy.

I'd also recommend Battle for Polytopia.

I'm fairly certain both these turn based strategy games will work fine offline.

There's bias, and then there's this. It's impressive in its transparency of agenda. Stunning, and a bit sad, since presumably even something with the bar so low can be effective with some people.

I recommend Weawow.

Odd name. Great app and widget. Single, dedicated developer and very simple monetization hook (just a donation, if I recall correctly).

Multiple data sources supported, and very customizable.
