I think it might be a reference to the theory/allegations/fact?/whatever that cops put out pallets of bricks during BLM protests which led to people smashing windows, which led to riots and then the "discrediting" of the message of the protests.

This sounds like a description of empathy, which, as far as I know, cannot be taught, unfortunately.

I think the fact that a lot of conservative men feel the need to be a part of or have an opinion on everything is not unrelated.

I have not, but it's an interesting thought. I may have to try this out. I imagine that, to get a worthwhile answer, you would have to give ChatGPT a lot of context for your problem/question. Taking the time to identify and consider that context may actually be more helpful than whatever answer the AI could provide.
