The Tokyo High Court ruled on Wednesday that Japanese laws that do not recognize same-sex marriages violate the country's Constitution. This is the second time a high court in the country has handed down such a decision.

Description: A picture with two lines of text against the background of the transgender flag.
The upper line says "Strange Nerd", the lower line says "Transgender". Arrows in between them connect the letters of one with the other, thus pointing out that one is an anagram of the other.

Description: A meme in two pictures and two text boxes. The upper image shows an anime-style character, joyous and smiling, surrounded by twinkling stars. The text next to them says: "You realize you're trans."
The lower image shows the same character, staring in despair, surrounded by darkness. The text next to them says: "You realize you're trans."

Everyone knows why it's different for him: He is white.

Not mine. I only cross-posted it. The honor belongs to the OP ShareMySims who posted it on midwest.social.

ID: what is intersex?

The term "intersex" is used to describe an individual whose chromosomes, hormones, or sexual organs are not in line with the perceived male/female sex binary.

SEX is not binary.

SEX is a spectrum.

Sex is determined by a doctor upon birth using the following guidelines: (according to the infant's genitals):

Bellow is a graphic of a ruler, labelled "Phall-O-Meter", from left to right:

The first, slim section is pink and marked with a female symbol, to the left it says: "it's a girl! (under 3/8 inch)"

The second section, 3 times larger than the first, is purple and marked with an X, underneath it says: "unacceptable! Babies with "ambiguous genitals" often undergo inhumane, dangerous, and un- necessary surgeries to "normalize" their genitals, many times without parental consent!"

The final and largest section is 6 times larger than the first, is blue and marked with a male symbol, to the right it says: "it's a boy! (over 1 inch)"

Under the graphic the text continues:

INTERSEX PEOPLE...

are about as common as redheads!

can have any sexual orientation or gender identity.

should never be called "hermaphrodites."

should have their privacy respected.

should not have to be ashamed of their bodies.

deserve to be treated like anybody else.

Bellow is a row of 5 stick figures ranging from blue to pink and from wearing trousers to skirt, to represent the gender spectrum.

One more reason: The dish tastes exactly the same every time. No variation at all.

But when you cook real food, there is always a little variation because the ingredients are usually always slightly different (vegetables more or less watery, meat more or less lean, a little bit more or a little bit less salt or flavouring). It's one of the main skills of a really good cook: To perceive the subtle differences during the preparation and to bring out the best possible taste incorporating the differences.

Disgusting! Tell me, where do the furries find those naps, so that I can avoid them!?

You are certainly blowing minds.

At this temperature you are basically the Big Bang, becoming a universe of your own and blowing everyone's mind in the process.

One of them, in sexy clothing, says: "I like girls too. I feel like wanting to keep them as pets."
The other one, modestly dressed, responds: "Eh!?"

More than 800 records of service members who were kicked out of the military under the “don’t ask, don’t tell” policy were recently upgraded to receive honorable discharges, Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin said Tuesday.

I think it's extra funny that Liefeld very likely traced a photo of Arnold Schwarzenegger for that one.

Because this confuzzled me, note that the EU's Digital Markets Act (DMA) and the Digital Services Act (DSA) are two separate things.

The Digital Markets Act is the one which is meant to remove economic barriers by "gatekeepers". For example the DMA is used to force Google and Apple to open their app stores.

The Digital Services Act is the one that regulates (among other things) moderation, political neutrality and removal of extremist content on social media platforms. That's the one Thierry Breton oversaw and threatened Elon with.

So while exTwitter's lawyers may sigh in relief, because they got out of the DMA; the DSA is still looming large.

The robotaxi show case had been announced ages ago, so it seems unlikely. But we can still revel in schadenfreude, because it was a complete dud and Tesla's shares lost almost 10% of their value in two days.

The billionaire’s donations failed in 2022 and 2023, making him one of the early contributors to anti-trans causes. Now, his PAC is partnering with an offshoot of the anti-trans Turning Point USA.
