2023 was an annular eclipse not a total eclipse. Very different experiences for the viewer.

Do you have any certs or experience in IT? The ConpTIA certs (A+, Net+, and Security +) can open many doors.

In my research, I've found SoloKeys may be a US company. They are headquartered in New Jersey and one Co-founder is in New York City. However, according to their WhoIs data, the domain was registered in Iceland.

From SoloKey's Solo 2A+ NFC Security Key product page "Made and programmed in Europe." https://solokeys.com/products/solo-2a-nfc-security-key?variant=40297992093889

Crazy coincidence that I was just researching hardware keys today. Why go with a hardware key over a free, open source TOTP generator like Aegis?

I use Arch by the way

I never thought about it that way...

Is it possible to copy paste with QEMU?

I'm running Arch on my machine with Kali in a QEMU VM and I'd like to copy paste between the two. How can this be done?

I have recently jumped head first into the Linux space. I've installed Arch on my daily driver and I've become overwhelmed/overjoyed with my options. I'd like to hear from the community about your Linux favorites.

What is your favorite Terminal Emulator and what have you done to customize it?

KDE KScreen2 Bug (qlemmy.com)
submitted 1 year ago by stark@qlemmy.com to c/kde@lemmy.kde.social

New Arch Linux user running KDE.

My monitors will not turn off due to this KScreen bug. When the monitors attempt to turn off, they immediately turn back on and, because the monitors don’t turn off, the computer never sleeps. Across the net, this bug has been mentioned a few times. Disabling the KScreen2 service does fix the issue but my second monitor’s config is reset every time the computer is rebooted.

Does any one have a work around for this issue?
